The world of Pokemon Rebirth is not all battles and badges. There are powerful organisations out there — some with noble goals, some with very... questionable ones. They call themselves Teams, and each has their own agenda.
Many of them will try to persuade you to their cause. A word of advice: be careful who you trust.
Personally, I recommend Team Rebirth. They stand for something worth fighting for. But ultimately, Trainer — the choice is yours.
