Mystery-dungeon prototype — find the stairs and descend. How deep can you go? Tap a lit tile to walk there (arrow keys and the movement pad work too). Diagonal steps: Q/E/Z/C or the numpad on a keyboard — tap-to-walk cuts corners on its own. The Depths move when you move: every step you take, the Pokémon prowling the dark take one too. Each Pokémon has its own belly — only the LEADER's drains as it walks, so rotate leaders (or feed them) before anyone starves. Changing leaders costs a turn — the swap happens mid-dungeon, and the floor moves while you make it. Tap the » button (or Shift+Arrow) to dash down corridors. While a leader is starving, tap-to-walk and dash drop to one step at a time so a long route cannot quietly eat a health bar — turn that off with the Starving brake button if you would rather keep sprinting.

Adventure Log
Battles happen right on the map: walk into a Pokémon (or tap it) to strike, or use the move buttons / keys 1-4 — hover a move to see exactly where it will land. The Attack button (key 5) is a weak typeless strike that costs no PP and hits any foe. The ↻ pad button (or F) turns you in place without spending a turn — facing decides where ranged moves fire. The Tactics button sets your teammates' AI: fight beside you (they join fights you can see), hunt down foes on their own, guard the trail (fight from formation, never leave it), or hold their moves. Gold-striped tile = stairs. Items lie on the floor as icons — each kind has its own shape, a purple ring means uncommon and a gold one means rare, so you can tell a find from a staple without picking it up. A green DEX tag over a Pokémon means its Pokédex entry is still open — that is the one to spend a Friend Gummi on. Kecleon stands at his shop. Centre pad button (or Space) waits a turn. The Zz pad button (or N) naps: the team rests in place, turn after turn, healing while the leader's belly holds — they wake when everyone is healed, when something comes close, or at any key or tap.
